Where can I find a good Church?If you have a friend who is a Christian who is ‘born again’ and excited about being a Christian then it is often a good idea to go to church with your friend. If you don’t know anyone who is a Christian or you can’t get to their church then you could follow the links on this page.This page contains links to a website with lists of good churches. These lists are not comprehensive; there are other good churches out there besides the ones on these lists. If you do not live close enough to any of them then you could try phoning or emailing one of the churches listed and asking if they know of any good churches near you. If you live in Adelaide, South Australia then I recommend my own church, Paradise Community Church. Paradise is a contemporary style church with a relaxed atmosphere. Most people wear neat casual dress. Every effort is made to make visitors feel welcome without putting them under pressure. Here is a link to a page that has a map to help people find the church. The alpha course website has links to the websites for countries where the alpha course is held. If your country has an alpha course website then it should have a list of churches from various denominations near you. You might find a suitable church on that list. You could also try your local phone book for a listing of churches near you. See how to find a good church. People who live in countries where Christians are persecuted for their faith often find that God will bring Christians to them. If you are in that situation then pray and ask God to bring Christians to you. |
