How can I live a victorious Christian life?When someone becomes a Christian she/he becomes a new creation. We have the hope of eternal life Heb 6:18-19 … Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can take new courage, for we can hold on to his promise with confidence. This confidence is like a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain of heaven into God’s inner sanctuary. (NLT) So we can have great confidence in Jesus as our hope of salvation. The only problem is that although we are new creations spiritually, our mind, will and emotions don’t always line up with the new life that we have in Jesus. How can we experience that new life in every area of our lives? Well I’d love to tell you but I know some people who are much better at it than myself, so I’m going to point you in their direction. Sy RogersFirst I would like to tell you about Sy Rogers, he is an inspiration for anyone struggling with a ‘stronghold’; if God’s power can work for Sy then it can work for you too. Sy's story is dramatic not just because of Sy's background but because Sy has been a Christian for thirty years. But not only is Sy a great inspiration he is also a great communicator and he has a number of great messages about walking in victory. If you have ever listened to people who claim to have seen a vision of heaven, you kind of get the idea that it is frustrating for them to describe the experience but it is encouraging to know that they can’t wait to go back there. Well let me describe what it is like to listen to Sy, I always look forward to hearing him speak! To say much more would spoil the surprise. Sy has some great articles that you can read for free on his website but hearing him in person is a must. Also you might like to consider looking at his range of messages that you can buy from his website, I'm sure that you would not be disappointed.Cleansing StreamFinally I’d like to tell you about the Cleansing Stream seminar. This seminar is run at various churches. Perhaps you could persuade your Minister/Pastor to run the seminar or you might like to go to one that is being held near you. I’ve been twice and it was great for providing keys to walking in victory and it has helped me to grow in God. The seminar is held in various countries. Go to the Cleansing Stream web site to see if there is a link to your own country's website. Your own country's website should have an email address that you can email to ask if there is a church that holds the seminar near you.Two churches that I know that hold the seminar in Australia include.
