Has God revealed himself to you already?

God has already been at work in your life even though you might not be aware of it. God provides for everyone, not just Christians, he even protects people who do not know him (although the only real security you can have is when you do know him). God may have already saved your life! Maybe these words sound familiar to you, "God if you get me out of this, I’ll … ".
Have you ever been in a situation where you nearly died and don’t know how you survived? There was a situation that I was in when I was a child. I’m not a very quick thinker at all and I’m not very athletic (I was often picked last for sport teams). I can remember the physical education teacher trying to teach me to do summersaults. It was a hopeless task. I couldn’t do them if my life depended on them. (I still can’t). I was taken for a drive by my older brother. He was young at the time and he used to drive like a youth. (My brother is 13 years older than me and I was still a child at the time). When he stoped at a petrol (gas) station I got out of the car and when I got back in I did not close the door properly. As my brother took off back on to the main road my door swung open and I fell out. Amazingly and with no time to think about it, I found my arms over my head and myself tumbling in perfect summersaults. The direction of the tumbling took me to the side of the road, out of the way of any cars that might have come along. I got up a little shaken but otherwise ok. On another occasion, when I was a toddler, my sister found me holding a cat which had a poisonous snake in its’ mouth. All that’s ok for me but from your point of view it is more meaningful when you see God’s protection in your own life. If you have been in a situation where your life has been spared, you can be sure that God was at work because Satan would not want to keep you alive. Moments like those are moments where God reaches out to you to let you know that he loves you and cares about your life.
