Recommended Resources
I’ve put this list of resources together with the aim of helping people
investigate the Christian faith. This is a list that covers a wide
range of issues from the accuracy of the Bible to the evidence for God
and the resurrection of Jesus. People in their late teens and onwards
should be able to find information that they can understand from the
following websites/resources. (Although the Tektonics and Creation
Ministries Internation websites do have some fairly technical articles
on their websites and also note that Strobel has written editions of
some of his titles in a style aimed at students).
Free Stuff
Here is a list of my favourite websites where you can get information
for free.
Bible Gateway is a website
where you can read the entire Bible online for free. They have a
selection of English translations as well as many in foreign languages.
If you are a new to Christianity or still in high school then I
recommend the New International or the New
Living Translations

Lee Strobel has a website with
free videos on topics that are similar to his books (see below)
Creation Ministries
International have a website that has articles on topics relating
to science and the Bible. I highly recommend this website, see their
‘info’ menu which has a link to their FAQ pages or use the
search option.
The Tektonics website has some
in depth articles that show that the Bible can be trusted.
The Jesus
movie is a movie about the life of Jesus and you can watch it online
for free.
I highly recommend doing the Alpha Course
at least once.
Your local Church; if have not yet found
a church then please consider finding one.
Recommended Books
The Case for
Christ by Lee Strobel looks at the historical evidence for
Jesus, his death and his resurrection.
The Case for Faith
by Lee Strobel looks at some of the harder questions that Christians
might struggle with such as why is there pain and suffering.
The Case For
Creator by Lee Strobel looks at the evidence for design that we
see all around us. While I disagree Strobel's opinion that the universe
is billions of years old (type 'age of the universe' in the
search box at the CMI
website), I would still recommend this book because it presents strong
arguements in a style that is easy to understand.
The book Refuting
Evolution by Jonathon Sarfati was writen as a response to
arguments that skeptics have used against Creationists and shows
several
reasons why the skeptics case is far from convincing.
The book Refuting
Evolution II by Jonathon Sarfati covers a wider range of
arguments in more detail than Refuting
Evolution.
Recommended DVDs
The Passion Of The
Christ, hardley needs and introduction but I think it is one
movie that everyone should see at least once.
The DVD From
a Frog To a Prince shows why evolution can not explain how the
complex information in our DNA got there in the frist place.
Unlocking the
Mystery of Life is a DVD put out by the Discovery Institute and
it looks and the evidence for design.
